Early hallowenn celebration :-)

hi guys,
so this is my first inspirational post as part of the design team and for this i decided to use the jump for joy witch stamp. It may be a little premature but i decided to do a halloween style card to compliment this stamp so here she is,

i used a lot of orange and black on this card as i thaught this would make the stamp of the witch which i coloured using promarkers bounce off the card.

i hope you like my design and would leave me some feedback.
I would love you to pop over and visit my Blog

thank you

Ice Cream Sparkles

Hello Everyone

This is Astrid here with my first post and i love to work as a DT member for Treasured Times Rubber Stamps.

I say a goodmorning everyone on this Friday, the last day of the work week for most of us.

This digi is made at Tracey Malnofski and called Ice Cream Sparkles.
I coloured with Copic Markers, but my colour for the faces was empty and now its a different colour than normal.

I have used the Cutting and Embossing die from Joy 6002/0146 and behind the flowers i used the feathers 6002/0292. All around i did the papers with Prima Marketing Tool, very handy and the bow is from my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
A ticket with Friends and a few pearls.

Hope you liked it and have all a nice weekend.

Greetings Astrid

Sunshine Wishes for You!

It's Saturday!  Are you at the beach today too?  Bring loads of sunscreen, flip flops(that sand is hot), a great big towel and your suit!  Those things and your interest in accomplishing absolutely nothing!  That's right, nothing!  The beach is intended to make you leave the dishes, wash and cooking all behind you, so get out there and find that star fish!

As soon as I saw this adorable little star fish loving stamp, I knew I just had to color her up and add her to a beachy scene on a card!  So I went a shoppin at the new Hobby Lobby down here in Florida by moms house and found some great Raffia, Wooden sentiments and those adorable glittered buttons!  I Put them all together and hand cut myself a starfish shape that I think would make a great addition to the Shape EZ collection when I get home!
What do you think?

If you've made a project lately, don't forget to enter the current challenge at the Treasured Times Challenge Blog with the theme "Anything Goes" !  You have until the 8th of September!  Love to visit you there!

JUST CHILLAXIN!

Hi everyone!  Audrey from the Inspiration Team here with you today to share my newest creation using one of the amazing stamps available at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps.  This is Emma Sitting Pretty clear stamp by Tracey Lynn Miller.

Image is colored with Copics after being stamped on Cryogen White paper using Memento black ink to stamp image.  I pretty much stuck with one color for her outfit this time and I really like how it turned out.  Image is cut with stitched die from my stash.  DP is from Bella Blvd. and is so happy and peaceful, which inspired my sentiment choice which I feel just fills one with positivity.  Sentiment cut with Nestie.  Flowers are from Prima and I think they add a great finishing touch to the card.

I colored the grass with my "go to" grass color combo - G99, YG67, YG63, YG03 and G20.  Outline of image done with YG11 and G20.

For the bench, I went with colors from the E50s family this time.   I really like to alter the colors I use for wood, bark, stone, etc. each time so that they always have a unique appearance.  If I use the same colors over in over, I tend to feel like I am in a rut.  So, specifically, I used E59, E57, E55 E53 and E51.  I only used a very slight amount of the darkest and lightest colors in the group.

Emma's blond hair is done with E50, Y21, E53, E13 and a slight amount of E34.  Again, I try to vary the colors I use for hair, although I also have my "go to" colors for hair.  This is not my "go to" blond, but I think it's a nice shade and I really like the way it looks on this image.

For her dress, I chose BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01 and the very slightest amount of BG000.  Then I went in and added white polka dots with my white Sharpie paint pen.  I think it adds some nice contrast to the dress.  Shoes are BG09, BG07.

Finally, the butterflies are colored with YR09, YR07 and Y38, Y35.

I sure do hope you like it!!
Hugs!

For the tree, I chose E89, E87, E84 amd E81.  I have never really used this combo at all before and think it looks really good for tree bark.

My First Post Here - Who Loves Ice Cream???

Hi everyone!  Audrey from the Inspiration Team here with you today to share my very first creation using one of the amazing stamps available at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps.  This is Audrey and AJ with Ice Cream and Sparkles by the super talented Tracey Malnofski.

Image is colored with Copics and then I added Atyou Spicas and Sakura pens for sparkle on the buttons and the background.  I used 2 of my favorite hair color combos in this image
For AJ's brown hair - E53, E34 and E57
For Audrey's Red Hair - E08, E19, E59 and then a dash of YR24 added at the end

I tried to keep my color pattern pretty consistent throughout the image, so I also used the brown combo for Audrey's shoes and AJ's shorts, although I did also added E59 for the darkest color on AJ's shorts.   AJ's shoes use the same color combo I used on Audrey's hair.

Other colors I chose include:
Audrey's shorts and bandana - BG78, BG49, BG57 and BG53, also used for AJ's bottom ice cream scoop.

AJ's shirt and socks - YR18, YR16 and YR14
Ice cream cones - YR28, YR24, YR21
Yellow ice cream Y17, Y18
Audrey's t-shirt and socks RV17, RV14, RV13
Pink ice cream RV66, RV19

I cut the image our with MFT die and added a tag from Nesties.  DP is Doodlebug Designs and CS is Bazzill.  You will notice when I color, I typically try to take all the colors I use on the image from the colors on my papers.  I made the bow using my Bow Easy with ribbon from my stash and then added a button and some bling on the tag.  Sure hope you like it and hope it has provided you some inspiration.  Until next time...

Hugs!

Don't Skip Over Your Potential

Emma the Skipper

Happy Sunday! It's Tammy Louise here sharing a project made away from my craft table!  Yep, still in Florida and I'm enjoying that I have to shop for each individual card!  Found some lovely little ditties to show off the Skipping Emma card with!

Anyway, I found an actual Michaels Craft store about 20 minutes away and went shopping!  Turns out the Hobby Lobby here in Zephryhills has no mulberry flowers and no Martha Steward section!!! What is up with that!    I went shopping in a NORMAL town "Tampa" and found these terrific Heidi Swapp premade card and it made this project come together perfectly!  No craft table, means simplifying the card making process!!!  Hope you like this little Emma skipping along with these gorgeous water painted butterfly wings on the embossed card!  If you ever have to make something on a quick basis, these are perfect!

INGREDIENTS:
Emma the Skipper by Tracey Lynn Miller
Pre made Heidi Swapp card

The water color paint has glitter in it, just paint and wipe these cards!

 MEDIUMS:
Cosmic Shimmer water color
Copic Ink for image

Today I've used the Amazing Lily Mae Beach Comber by Jody Stacy

I love this little girl, so much fun to color up. I used Copics and once she was all colored I added a layer of Distress Antique Linen over her to age the paper a bit. It matched the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer line of paper on the card. Once I put it all together I added just a touch of Stickles to the waves and such. Just a bit of sparkle. I love how she turned out.
I hope you like it and thank you so much for stopping by have a Wonderful Day!
