DT Deni - Such a Delight

Hi Everyone,

DT Deni here :-)

Today I have an inspirational card for you. I have used a gorgeous image from Christy Hartman called Whimsical Flower.

This is such a beautiful image, I could see my colouring of it before I even started. I was in my head thinking rainbow design, but went with a more suttle colouring theme instead to match some papers I found in my stash, not sure of the name as they were loose on my shelf. The Cardstock is from Kaisercraft.

I have also inked around the edge of the image using Memento Dew Drop - Angel Pink using a Sponge Dauber.

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers purchased from Craft-a-Lot and Craft Online.

I have cut the scallop border edge from My Favorite Things Blueprints 14, I have cut two in the pink and one in the pattern paper and layered them to frame the border die a bit better.

I used Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon stamps for the sentiment, I stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black on X-Press it Blending Cardstock.

I have added some Polly Twine from Whimsy Farm Twine, this is such a lovely quality of twine and I have a few colours now :-).

I added 3 brads on the top left corner to finish my card off.. these are from my stash unsure of the brand.

Gone Fishing - Fishing Boy

Happy Friday Morning,  Marnie here with an adorable boy card.

Masculine/boy cards but this Fishing Boy Stamp by Jehanne Silva-Freimane is perfect for any of those occasions you need a masculine project. It is also available Digitally HERE.   I love how he turned out when colored with Copics.  The background used almost all of my Blue/Green markers just in dots to give a little more interest to the card.  This treatment can be used anytime for fun or just when you want something a bit different.  The Gone Fishing was cut with my Silhouette from a font I had on hand.

Don't forget today is the last day to enter Challenge #23 on the Challenge Blog.  The theme is Anything Goes.  Be sure to check out the amazing projects everyone is submitting for the challenge.

Have a Wonderful Weekend!

Lily Mae Beach Comber

Good Morning! Marnie here, I'm so excited to share my first card in my very first post here.  I am so excited to be a part of the Challenge team here at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps, I can't even tell you.  I can't wait to get to know everyone!

Today I've used the Amazing Lily Mae Beach Comber by Jody Stacy

I love this little girl, so much fun to color up. I used Copics and once she was all colored I added a layer of Distress Antique Linen over her to age the paper a bit. It matched the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer line of paper on the card. Once I put it all together I added just a touch of Stickles to the waves and such. Just a bit of sparkle. I love how she turned out.
I hope you like it and thank you so much for stopping by have a Wonderful Day!

Pickin Cherries!

Happy Monday craft lovers!  I hope all of my American friends had a fabulous and safe Independence Day?  I know we did, burgers, dogs and chips!  Yummy!

Today I'm going to share one of the NEW Lilly Mae illustrations now on sale in here in the store!!  The design paper is Authentique and full of little dusty brown birds on tree limbs and a beautiful color coordinated wood grain.  The image was colored with my copics and cut with Spellbinders dies.  I've loaded the right side with blossom die cuts from the Darling Squares set of dies and the left with bits and bobs from my stash.  There's even a little cherry charm and a beautiful red and white stick pin too that match the beautiful butterflies from Angelica's Etsy Shop!

This project is loaded with extras that work together to create a summer scene that brings back wonderful old memories of when we were young!
