Peace on Earth!

Hello friends and family!  It's Tammy Louise today at the Treasured Times Blog sharing a project that's special to my heart! Back in the 70's we would use old red shiny ornaments or the ones we hand made in school, popped the corn and use the traditional star on a REAL treek!  Then we would get out the spray can of snow and either coat it with snow on the ends of every branch or get that little box of specially folded silver tinsel and coat the tree with hanging shine!

Now a days, people are using pre-lit trees and buying bulbs that are shaped like our favorite Disney characters and then the topper is some organza covered Santa face, or a light up Teddy bear depending on our collection genre!   This adorable little beauty by E. Bell exclusively for Treasured Times, brought the old days right back to me!

INGREDIENTS:
image is Sweet Country Christmas by E. Bell
Dp is Maja Design "A Gift for You

The base of the card is made with my Darling Square die design, as are the fluttery little flowers on vines and the sentiment circle!  Then I've decided that Noor had some very vintage looking little bits and bobs dies for the corners, bulbs and that great filmstrip die!  This is after all the type of photo op you don't want to miss!

I would like to wish you all a wonderful, warm, safe and blessed Christmas!

It's your Day to be Spoiled!

Happy Monday!  It's Tammy Louise at the start of a new week again, and I've geared up for a CAS MiRan project to share with you all!  This cutie is only available in clear rubber here at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps and her name is Happy Thoughts!    My coloring was chosen for the package insert by the wonder Jody Stacy, owner of Treasured Times!   thanks for such a wonderful privelege!

If I had to guess, she's wondering if she's been good enough to get what she asked Santa for?  Her little friend is trying to convince her that she has, but you never know!  lol  I've added some great spotty ribbon and just a few adorable color coordinated buttons to the project and that great sentiment!  That's it, this is all about the gorgeous image!

INGREDIENTS:
Happy Thoughts MiRan stamp
Birthday Sentiments at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps
MEDIUMS:
Copic Ink

No Peaking!

Hello PPinky lovers!  Tammy Louise here today and I'm sharing a quick treat bag with you all.  It's made with a Treasured Times Rubber Stamps exclusive rubber image.  I've coupled it with some of my favorite dies and the super simple Shape EZ rolled bag.  I thought it would make a perfect stocking stuffer!  What do you think?

I've stamped her with my new found grey toned ink Seattle Sky by Color Box and colored her with my Copic ink.  I did end up die cutting into the image a bit because the box is small so that it would fit into the stocking but the image in full is at the bottom of this post as well.

If you'd like to see her stamped with this new ink, check out this YouTube video

Rolled Bag Shape EZ template

PPinky at Christmas!

Good Morning!  It's my turn to show off one of my favorite PPinky Rubber stamps exclusive at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps Store!  I've used my Derwent Inktense pencils on the Mr. Snowman image and in non traditional colors!

I've combined this adorable Mr. Snowman image with one of my favorite Holiday Shape EZ templates called the Snowy Ball template available in my ETSY Store today!

These Stamps are created with a special screen process in order to contain the wonderful shading that Chrishanthi the designer of PPinky includes in her images!  That's what makes them so different and quaint.  When you stamp them with a dark black ink, the shading may not allow your coloring medium to be as vibrant as you would like, however, I have created a video that can show you many options that resolves this!  I would love for you to

and see for yourself how you can stamp them to appear as the digital images do!  Have fun!

CANDY!
If you love PPinky Stamps as much as I do,
you don't want to miss out on submitting to this candy!
Stop by my blog today for the rules!

Treasured Times Shapely Saturday and Shape EZ

Happy Holiday's!!!

There's a NEW contest at the Treasured Times Rubber Stamps Face Book page and it's all about making something out of the square!  lol  Ok, so it's usually out of the box!  But you can win a few of the Shape EZ templates of your own like the Ornament template I used today and make some Shapely projects of your own!!!

Here's what you need to know:
Shapely Saturday Contest:
ALL skill levels are welcome to participate!

Good Morning crafty friends!! It’s time for the FIRST Shapely Saturday contest and I couldn't be more excited to get this contest revved up and started!

Make a shaped project, anything but a square, that includes any of the Treasured Times products.

This contest starts today and runs every other Saturday!

Please upload your Shapely Saturday Contest Photos to the correct folder.  Go to the photos tab. Select the folder (by date) you’d like to add your photo to. Select add photo, upload photo and save.
I want to invite you to create anything other than a square card with us. It does not have to be a Shape EZ template!!!

This contest was designed because sometimes we can get into a 6 x 6 square rut, sound familiar? I find it hard to stay or get motivated and inspired to create if I don’t try something new whether it’s a new pad of paper, a new die or a new card composition. When I buy stamps I will enjoy coloring, I’ve learned that I enjoy creating around the theme of the stamp by designing a shaped card that coordinates with it!
It’s just a simple and fun way to make a project that is out of the ordinary so I created the Shape EZ template product line. The templates can be cut by hand if you run your design paper through your printer or you can use the SVG file in a machine and have it cut for you. Either way, design the project any way you like and enjoy!
Layers of lush and could be a tree ornament too!
The project I’m sharing with you today is with the ornament template and the Brand NEW release of Treasured Times Vintage Sentiment Set, because the Holiday Season is upon us and it makes for a great way to show off the new stamps!   More details on my blog and For more samples of Shape EZ projects, there is a tab at the top of my blog and I invite you to shop my Etsy Store too! Visit me any time, I’ll leave the door open for you!
Hugs,
Tammy Louise

Make Dozens of Holiday Cards Quick!

CAS HOLIDAY CARD WITH MI RAN AND A VIDEO

So, every year I'm asked whether or not I can make some cute little Christmas cards for my mom to mail out to relatives!!  Every year, I come up with a card that she is happy with that isn't the type of card that is either going to financially break the bank, or take the entire year to make!!! lol

This year I was blessed with designing for the generous and wonderfully easy to work with Jody Stacy!  The owner of Treasured Times Rubber Stamps store who has recently begun working with one of my favorite stamp artists Mi Ran Jung!!  There are some exclusive designs that Jody has made available in rubber from Mi Ran and I've colored up my favorite so far and designed a CAS Holiday card for mum with it!

I've created a video showing how to design this quick card with loads of tips I've learned along my crafty journey that I hope inspires you to get out some of those tools you forget you have, use up some of that paper that is too large to toss but too small to create an entire project with, and to save money by altering some of your embellishments with the mediums you already have!   Have fun and enjoy your Holiday card making!

My You Tube channel address is below in case the video doesn't upload!!  Stop by any time to check out some terrific tips and tricks on cutting dies, recycling some of your cut papers on some super quick Holiday makes!!

Don't Skip Over Your Potential

Emma the Skipper

Happy Sunday! It's Tammy Louise here sharing a project made away from my craft table!  Yep, still in Florida and I'm enjoying that I have to shop for each individual card!  Found some lovely little ditties to show off the Skipping Emma card with!

Anyway, I found an actual Michaels Craft store about 20 minutes away and went shopping!  Turns out the Hobby Lobby here in Zephryhills has no mulberry flowers and no Martha Steward section!!! What is up with that!    I went shopping in a NORMAL town "Tampa" and found these terrific Heidi Swapp premade card and it made this project come together perfectly!  No craft table, means simplifying the card making process!!!  Hope you like this little Emma skipping along with these gorgeous water painted butterfly wings on the embossed card!  If you ever have to make something on a quick basis, these are perfect!

The Best Part Of My Day!

It's my turn to show off another Lilly Mae today!  "The Bird Keeper" These stamps are so fun and simple to color!  Luv them!  I've put this blue bird and blue apron color together with one of my favorite colors "Orange"!  At first, I thought perhaps I made an error in judgement but when I added the browns into the ribbon and floor with my Copics, it came together very well!

Papers are by Michele Roos, the Dies are Bird Cage Shapeology Die and Darling View from The Little Darling Rubber Stamps!

You'll find more info and embellishment links on my blog, so stop by and pay me a visit!

Pickin Cherries!

Happy Monday craft lovers!  I hope all of my American friends had a fabulous and safe Independence Day?  I know we did, burgers, dogs and chips!  Yummy!

Today I'm going to share one of the NEW Lilly Mae illustrations now on sale in here in the store!!  The design paper is Authentique and full of little dusty brown birds on tree limbs and a beautiful color coordinated wood grain.  The image was colored with my copics and cut with Spellbinders dies.  I've loaded the right side with blossom die cuts from the Darling Squares set of dies and the left with bits and bobs from my stash.  There's even a little cherry charm and a beautiful red and white stick pin too that match the beautiful butterflies from Angelica's Etsy Shop!

This project is loaded with extras that work together to create a summer scene that brings back wonderful old memories of when we were young!

Copics are listed on my blog but the skin tones are E000,E13, E93,E95
